Anybody tried Galli strings?

Anybody tried Galli strings? I am interested in there flatwounds and tapewounds, are they any good? What kind of sound do they give?

Put a set of Galli tape wounds on my Veillette singlecut fretless.

Very even and warm, kind of dark sounding versus La Bellas.

On the piezo equipped Veillette, the labellas have a lot of "string"--audible attack, almost like a flatwound metal string. The Gallis have less overtones, almost "eq'd"

But not as much "thud" as Rotos.

How do you find the tension on them compared to the rotos
