Anyone else have D'Addario Chromes on a fretless?

Did I make a mistake? I bought a Squier fretless and had chromes put on them, because I absolutely wanted flats, and I have them and love them on my P-bass, so I thought, why not? The action's quite high, so it needs a proper set-up (I bought it on the internet), but reading around in the strings forum others have sung the praises of low tension flats on a fretless. Will a set-up make me happy, or did I break some unwritten law? (ie. no chromes on a fretless!)

Thanks!

The short answer is... you didn't break any laws.

I suggest that you call an attorney right away.

I'm a big fan of Chromes on fretless. You have done nothing wrong.

I used chromes on fretless for several years. No worries: there is no right or wrong, only what works for you!
