Anyone else tuning a half step down (Eb) ?

I've been tuned down for a few months now on all strings and the lower string tension is great and i love being able to hit that low Eb.

anyone else love this?

I might be kinda weird with this but when it comes to my 6 string basses I like the sound of tuning 1/2 step down. On a 4 I like tuning 2 steps down to C.

My P-Bass is tuned Eb Ab Db Gb.

Its not problem you can do it with pretty much any set of medium / medium light gauge strings...

I recently just strung up my 4-string BEAD with the 4 biggest strings out of a 5-string pack. Before that, I had it tuned down to BEAD with regular strings and before that I was at CGCF. The drop-C tuning is probably my favorite but the little extra something you get from down-tuning is awesome!

I've always tuned to Eb for my own stuff (one acoustic bass and my Warwick), in bands I'm normally in D standard.

Eb is my favourite tuning, stemming from a teenage obsession with Alice in Chains!
