Anyone got Pyramid roundwound strings?

Hey guys.

Tried Email support with no luck. Does anyone use or know how long Pyramid roundwounds are on the heaviest string from the ball end til it starts unwinding near the nut? I have a bass that is 34 1/2 scale and is string thru. This is the only Drop C set I can find without having to order custom from outside the EU.

It needs to be at least 37 and a quarter inches long from the ball end til it starts unwinding at the nut end. Yes I can get super long scale strings, but not in drop C gauges.

As an example, standard long scale Rotosound strings only have 36" from ball until it starts unwinding, DR's Long scale has at least 37 1/2" until unwinding.

Cheers!

Rob.

The Catalog only lists their definition of "scale length" which is 30" for short scale / 34" for long scale etc... Not actual winding lengths...

Their "Long Scale" Flat Wounds are 37" from Ball End to Silk

Thought so too Plus, if he wants a good set of strings for Drop C tuning, he should look at the gauge.
