Anyone notice a lack of mids on Lo Riders ???

Sign in to disble this ad
Been using DR for a while now with good success......mostly Hi Beams, but also Lo Riders here and there. Just strung up my Lakland DJ4 with Lo Riders ( 45-105) and it sounds really good.....until I play with the band. Seems to really sit back in the mix, and almost get lost sometimes. I think from a lack of mids. Seems to be lacking that upfront punch.

Wondering if anybody else has had the same experince with Lo Riders having a scooped mid ??? Any good suggestions for the DJ4 for classic rock ???
