if so, are you installing them through the body or toploading them? I love Chromes on my P-basses but havent tried them on my Jazz. Would love some feedback before wasting a new set. Thanks! |

| | | | Top load. I don't think they will fit through the body. Mine did not (Lakland DJ), but I don't think I would want to put such a sharp bend in a flatwound anyway.

I'll give them some time and see what happens. | Mine took some time to settle before they sounded good. Give them a week or two. They are going to be different than the roundwounds, though. Stiffer, not as responsive, and not as growly. But, very clear in their basic tone.
BTW, cowtown as in Cowtown Ballroom?
