I've been keeping my old strings for a while. I have a bunch (actually 3 sets) of Fender nickel plated strings. They are the regular guage. 0.045-0.105

I have a set of TI jazz flats that are 2 1/2 years old-just put rounds back on my P bass 2 days ago.

Gauge is .43 .56 .73 .100

Hey man, no sweat. Even though those strings are about 3 years old, I couldn't see cutting them off the bass, or just letting them sit in my closet.

Glad they worked out for ya'.
