B-string length on LaBella Black Tape

Sign in to disble this ad
I just got a set of Labella Black Tapewounds for my fretless p, but tried them first om my 6-string Warmoth Gecko, just to se how they would sound, I had D'addario Prosteels on it.Well, I love the sound from the Labellas. Bright enough, but not zingy as the prosteels. I want a 6-string set for my Gecko. My only concern is that the E-string just made it over the nut, the A-string a bit more. Is the B string as long as the E-string, or a bit shorter like from A to the E string?
(And is there a proper term for the purple (on the labellas) part of the string from nut to tuning keys?)

I've played som more tonight, and I just loove these strings! With the bridge pickup on my gecko i get a nice bark, low and smooth yet with a tight bark. The best tone I've ever had from any bass ever! I think I hvae found "my" tone!
Please tell me that the B-string is long enough!
