Bass string id question

Sign in to disble this ad
I have a set of strings on my bass that feel and sound better than any I've ever used and I've been playing a very long time. Problem is, I bought the bass used and don't have any idea how to identify what brand they are.

Does anyone know if strings have any id or markings on the ball end ? They have red wraps on both ends.
