I found an simplified test info. in Bassplayer March 1996.
They tested some 150 str.sets and refered the tension as... soft-medium-tight (better than nothing)

Is here anyone who knows if there is similar articles in other magasines (or on the web. that has tension info.

I know that Bassist (GB mag. that sadly enough don't exist any more) had anpamflet nov 1996 and Bassplayer had one more string article in nov/dec 2004 to but non of these did list tension.

(Im specially curious abot flat wounds and coated)

I've just got this answer from one
(non of them mentioned in this thread)
manufacturer after e-mailing them and asked for Tension info. for one specific stringset within their brand

"Unfortunately, I cannot provide this information for you, as it is
proprietary information and confidential."

How's that?

(though... they where kindly enough to answer at all)

Measure it yourself and post it all over the web
