Which Bass Strings To Use??

I am not happy with the strings that i currently use on my Fender Deluxe Precision. I was told to try the Fender Tapewounds but i do not really like the tone that they have. I play in a band that is rock/indie and would like to know what is a good choice. I am leaning towards either the D'Addario flats or half or the Elixir Nanowebs. Thanks

What kind of sound are you going for? The most common strings are rounds, but there is quite the variety there too. I say get yourself a few different packs of roundwound nickel strings. I say nickel rounds to start with because they are versatile and fit almost all applications.

But in the end, it all comes down to personal taste.
