Hi there. I am a long time Uke player. (sorry) I came across a Alvarez MSB-1 in a pawn shop. I want to string it D-G-B-E like the bottom four strings on a 6 string Jazz Bass. The issues are that I have no idea what I am doing. The nearest Music store is 4 (yep 4) hours away so you guys are it. Here is the list of questions. I want to string this thing like a Tenor Guitar but down one Octave. Also...this instrument has only a 27 inch scale. What gauge strings should I use? Thank you all for your input. |
