BEAD on a Steinberger?

I'm tempted to put BEAD strings on my Steinberger because its primary use will be doom metal. Anyone know how that will work? Would the strings even fit around the nut?

You'll have to make some modifications to the nut, but I believe there are one or two companies that make double-ball 5-string sets that you can use.

Otherwise, it's fairly straight-forward.

Steinberger makes a set. Rotosound makes a four string set of 66's, but I haven't found a five string set which really disappoints me.

I'm thinking the nut modification wouldn't be too difficult though
