Best .22 F replacement single to go with my Ritter Swordsteels?

Sign in to disble this ad
So I got my new 7 string set of Ritter Swordsteel strings yesterday and immediately strung them up on my Conklin to start breaking them in. They felt great and I was getting really into a jam when I bent a note on the F string a little too far and SNAP! Rendering my $110 set of strings essentially useless.

So now I'm in the market for an F string that will sound blend in with the rest of the Swordsteel set sound wise and tension wise (hence I'm looking for a .22).

So far all that I've found is the Conklin Snakeskin single .22 F
http://www.conklinguitars.com/accessories.html

And the LaBella Hard Rockin Steels single .22 F from Big City Strings http://bigcitystrings.com/bass5678.htm

Which of these do you think would blend best with the Swordsteel set, or do you know of any other single F strings that would work better?

Thanks!

Alex
