Best 6 string budget sets...

I'm not digging prices on my six string sets I'm buying... Hi Beams and Fat Beams are my favorite but the price... ugh.

What strings would be ideal replacements that are in the under thirty dollar range?

D'Addario? Carvin? Post your preferences please. Sounds I usually like include... pretty much everything, metal to rock to electronica.
Edit: I have a denatured alcohol tub setup for my strings, but having some alternatives wouldn't be bad.

I found a deal on sun beams for 19 bucks on Amazon, just watch for it, it appears sometimes.

Also MTD strings often have discounts.

Yea.. I want to try the Sunbeams too! I'm not sure if I'm sold on stainless steel or nickel plated steel now since I've seen some great sounding nickels that I'm curious about.... this is the most expensive quest a 6 string bass player will ever embark on. :|

Had some amazon gift credit left over, used it towards a set of D'Addario Prosteels and D'Addario Nickel roundounds. Here's to hoping they fit the bill, at 23-24$ a set I'm hoping.
