NO a "B" string needs to be 125-135 dep on you liking . Basicly by a five string set and save the "G" string for your standard tuned four as a back up . Gauges should be 130-105-85-65. What you have is a set that is made to be tuned to "C" standard or drop C

DR DDT's do have a BEAD set: .065 .085 .105 .125

Rotosound also has a Drop Zone set: .065 .080 .105 .130

FWIW Rotosound even has a F# B E A set (add 3 singles to it you got a killer 7 string set)

A few companies are on the B E A D bandwagon these days... Plus you can always buy singles to make your own B E A D set.

A set .060 .080 .100 .120 would work as well for B E A D.

That's not Drop B, that's B Standard.

The strings you would won't be thick enough!

For B Standard, I would just order a set from Circle K. What tension do you like for strings now? I would go with one of these two sets (personally):
.136 .102 .076 .057
.142 .106 .079 .059

BEAD is not drop B. It's B standard. Use the bottom strings of any 5 string set.

yeah drop b is B, F#, B, E. I would just get a lighter gauge of 5 string set and use bottom 4.

I bought a set of Ernie Ball Power Slinky's from bassstringsonline.com (shameless plug) and I just didn't use the G string...that set has a .135 B and sounds nice for the heavier stuff I play (Manson, Rammstein, etc.)

Just remember that you will probably need to have the nut filed and bass setup once you get thicker strings.

125-130 is pretty normal.

I like 128 (DR Lo Riders). I tried a set with a 130 B recently and it was a good string but I will go back to 128.
