GHS Bass Boomers
TI Superalloys
TI Jazz Rounds
I have also heard great things about DR strings but have yet to try them.

- DR SS Lo-Riders
Nickle - DR Sunbeams
- DR Nickle Lo-Riders
- EB Slinkies
- D'Addario XLs

| | | | GHS boomers, Rotosound 66, Ernie Ball slinky, as my fave 3. Its rather silly though to think there would be a best roundwound string, or a best flatwound. Each brand has a tonal char unique to them. Its strictly a matter of personal sound preferance for a given bass or guitar.
