Hi again, I have narrowed my "Best Bass for Slapping" down to a few contenders. Now I need some help with stringing them with the very best in metal. Most basses come off the self with "El-cheapo" strings. What's your impressions for the best strings for slap-bass style? Also has anyone popped around that new Cort. bass? I tried it out (only $349.00 at GC) but it just didn't seem to have much sound once you left the e-string. Your comments are greatly welcomed.
