Best Slap Strings

Hi all, i have just recently started to play slap and was wondering what is the best strings for it? thanx....

The searchtool is your friend.. this subject has been covered in the past..

To not turn this into a "some people say" thread I can only provide my personal thaught on this subject.

I prsonally beleve that you get better control and playability with a lighter than the typical 45-105 guage.. stainless steel roundwound strings gets you definition and lasts a long time..

Ive been using DR Hibeams 40-100 for some 13 odd years.. hvent checked out the FAT beams that they now sell.. have gotten great reviews..

Search this site.. Youll find LOADS of tips.. Good luck.. and keep it "low" !!

right now I have 40-100 DR highbeams-those are great for slap. besides being bright and sounding nice, they slap like cutting a warm knife through butter compared to the 45-105 set I had on before changing strings, but that's only becacause they have a lot less tension.
