| TI flats are great, I used those for several years, but they simply refuse to die, I had a set on my bass for 2 years and they still had so much brightness I used to turn my tone knob halfway down. These days I'm very happy with Pyramid Gold flats: authentic old school tone and very smooth feel. They're expensive, though. Tension is a bit higher than TI's, but the Pyramids have a flexible feel.
