Best strings for $50 and under

I play an Ibanez road gear (2 Band EQ with Humbucker and Jazz PU). I currently have some sort of Elixer strings. However, when these need replacing (which may be soon) I'm wondering what would the best strings to get for $50 and under. I play everything from blues to metal to rock to jazz to solo stuff (as I have fairly broad musical tastes) and would like a versitle string. Thanks

i buy Warwick strings for $17 CDN(I have a Warwick RockBass, btw) and occasionally clean them off with methyl-hydrate.

So far, I like the tone and the price. I play pick and fingerstyle on them.
