Double-wrap strings might be up your alley, AFAIK LaBella and SIT make these.

They get my vote for Midless. I had a set and my 8th notes were like brap brap brap just boom and finger noise
I generaly speak well about D'adario strings, but I think they missed it with Prosteels.
