| That's a rare bird. Never played one. In my experience with G&Ls, nickel rounds or flats get the job done nicely. G&Ls have a lot of highs which typically rules out steels unless you are looking for really aggressive sound. One of my favorites has been TI Flats. However if I was setting up a G&L today, I would probably take a look at Sadowsky Flats or plain old D'addario nickel rounds or possibly Fender 7250s. What sound are you looking for? |
