just wondering what strings would sound best on my bass, SR1000 Prestige. Very rare bass. I have ernie ball's on it right now. im not sure what type, think it was the pink plastic ones. anyways, thanks

I might suggest the 45-100 DR Nickel Lo-Riders, as well. Very vibrant sound, a little stiffer than the Balls. They are harder to find than some other brands. |

I tried a bunch, and found Ken Smith Rock Masters to be the best match for my particular bass. My bass was maple/rosewood. You may have totally different results with a different wood combination.
