Best Strings for Wal Custom 4?

Got a set of dead DR Sunbeams ( I think) strings on right now, and want your opinion on the matter.

Lol thunder so true. But such posts deserve nothing else since such posters dont ever say what kind of tone tweak they want the strings to give. Or why they want to try other brands or what string brands theyve liked or disliked. They want magick answer of only one brand of strings is good. Lol.

Alright guys.
The point was to get your opinion on what YOU like, if you use a Wal, not to give me a list of manufactures, or a beating for the ambiguous phrasing of the question. I don't want to spend a boatload of money experimenting with strings. I don't know about you, but the economy is not too hot around here.
The tone I'm after is for maximum growl with warmth and a subdued high
end. The bass has no poly finish.

If you want to give little more emphasis to growl and crunch, Ernie Ball. To leave that as is GHS boomers or Rotosound. The latter adding a touch of metallic clank and slightly diff harmonic content. To reduce crunch and growl, daddario. For more treble and still retaining crack of thunder bass, dean markley blue steel. I prefer crunchy voice and basses whose pups have plenty of that. So I use rotosound swing 66 and alternately GHS.
