Better Playability: GHS Precision or Chrome XL Flats?

Wondering about this as I'm thinking about switching to flats on my Peavey Dynabass for variety but I play a fair amount of arpeggiated lines and runs in my band and was worried about my playing speed with flatwounds.

I agree, although I use and love the "old school flatwound" tone the GHS Precision Flatwounds produce, the D'addario Chromes are a faster playing string,IMO. I like Chromes in the 45-100 gauge. Steve

Having used both at one time or another, I vote for GHS.
