Smile Big Gauges Strings for C Tuning With a Natural and Bright Sound?

Sign in to disble this ad
Hello Demons-Angels
I play my 4 strings bass with the last 4 strings from a pack of 5 strings. Model Erniebal (fuxia pack) Nickel material.
Gauges .050 .070 .085 .105 .135

Those strings are great. Anything to say. I would like to change them though. What Kind of strings could I try?

I want something bright and natural. Not dark and not 'metallic'. Balanced.

I play a fender jazz and I am going to mount Fralin P.U.

Thank you Demons-Angels

I have had great success with these strings.

DDT Bass Strings | DR Strings

The DDTs are designed for drop tunings. Apparently I have read it is recommend to wind them up slowly because there is something special about them. I did it just to be safe and had positive results in drop B with the Extra Heavy set.
