I use a 6 string Ibanez BTB tuned BEADGC. About a month ago I bought a Warwick Black Label 32 - 135 set and I love them.
I broke my E string last night for the first time ever... I've broken my A string before too (on my 4 string), but I had bad technique AND I'd been using the strings for probably over 6 months, so I wasn't that worried.
The strings before these were on for over 6 months and were fine (except they were dead of course)...
I bought the Black Labels because I wanted to give them a try - I loved the sound, but tbh if they only last this long ( currently play them twice a week for 3hr sessions), I don't think I want to use them again!
I've just bought some D'Addario EXL Nickel Wound's (EXL165-6 32-135) and looked on D'Addario's website...

There the same scale as the Warwick Black Labels and I just noticed that it LOOKs like they're designed to be tuned BAADGEC (look at the table on the above site)... which is pretty useless to me tbh? And seeing as though it was my E string that just broke (after a relatively short amount of time) I'm worried I'm buying the wrong strings? The 32 - 130's below state they're made for the correct tuning?

Put my mind at ease?
