I've been using slinkys for a long time and just got a bass with DR Black Beauties and I like em. What kinda strings are black beauties? Are they rounds or stainless? They feel good and sound great

Rounds or stainless? You do realize strings can be round and stainless, right? Do you mean nickel or stainless?

Anyway, they are coated nickel round wound strings if i recall correctly.

Without a doubt they are better than ernie ball strings, hands down imo.

I believe Black Beauties are just a coated version of DR High Beams, which are stainless steel.
