black fingers from Infeld Superalloys!?

I just put these SuperAlloy rounds on my archtop electric bass, it came with bronze rounds that we're just too damn bright. I like them, but they turn my fingertips black. These are new strings, nothing visible on them tarnish-wise. I hope this changes with more playing time, it's kind of silly, but I've never had a new set of strings do this.

TI uses pure nickel in things like the JF and JR wrap wire, but I wouldn't have expected that from SuperAlloys. I don't know here it is now, but they used to have a disclaimer/warning that people with nickel allergies might react to TI strings due to the purity of the nickel, even if they were OK with a different brand of nickel strings. I'd start by being sure to wipe the strings down before and after playing, and see how it goes. I use those strings often and have never had that problem.
