Anyone know who makes 4 string black nylon tapewounds in short scale and normal gauge (.045 - .100)?

Thanks

I play Rotosound RS44LD's on my Hollowbody... they are awesome and nylon tape wound... but NOT the gauge you are looking for... Bump... and good luck

The only people who make short scale tapewounds are Rotosound, but they're quite a bit larger than normal gauge. The only people who make standard gauge tapewounds (that I've found) are Status-Graphite. They're not short scale, though you might want to try asking them if they could make a custom short scale set for you. They've always been really helpful when I've asked things about their strings.

FWIW: I tried the short scale Rotosound tapewounds on my Kinal Kompact Acoustic and I didn't like their tone or feel. Very stiff (high tension) and thumpy. Too much thump and thud, and not enough 'tone' for me. I love the Status Graphite ones though.
