I've got LaBellas on one bass and Fender 9120s on another. I like the Fenders better, but that doesn't mean I don't love the LaBellas also!

LaBella's are nice, and you can get them from Carvin at a pretty decent price.

Except the only thing is that if you only get one pack they charge you like $9 shipping, it should be like $3. It's cost effective if you get more than one pack though.

Status-Graphite!!! Standard gauge After playing them, I wouldn't use any other Tapewounds (aside from maybe a LaBella 'C' since they're the only company I've found who makes one).

Depends on the bass. I have a Rob Allen Deep 4. I have both LaBella Deep Talkin Nylons and Rotosound 88s ... Rob Allen prefers the LaBella (I think because they really bring out the tone and sustain of his basses) but I vastly prefer the Rotosounds because they are upright like, and Rob's basses have such a rich sound anyway that they give me as much sustain as I'd ever want.

Those of you who have tried the Status-Graphite ones, I can tell you like them... but what do they sound like?

Edit: Nevermind, I did a search.

Is it that much now? I don't know. I haven't bought anything from them in a while.
