Black Strings?

Sign in to disble this ad
I'm looking for some black stings for my Jackson C20. It is all black with black hardware and black stings would look killer on it. I know Black Diamond has them. Are they good? Just looking for different options. Thanks!

I've got some black beaties on my J and I LOVE the feel of them. Now that I've tried them I doubt I will be able to go back to non-coated strings. One tip though, they do sound new for longer than your average roundwound but not that much longer. I would say mine lost their zing after about 2 weeks.

Just wondering, does the coating make them feel smoother than non-coated rounds?

And does the coating reduce finger noise when sliding around?

That's good to know. I think I'll try some. I have a Geddy with a black PG....some black strings may look cool on it.
Anyone have a black and maple bass with black DR's on it? I'd like to see a pic.
