Black Strings Reco...

I've seen a bunch of brands offer Black Strings....but i dont know where to start?!

For reference...i've always loved RotoSound Swing bass strings...and prefer the mellow Nickel over the steel. And the last time i used DRs on my Ibby BTB 5er....i hated them.

These are going on a Custom 4 string J bass.

Huh. Whats a tapewound? Same as flatwound?

If so...Rounds, please. I slap too much for flats.
