Blue Steel problem?

I play Dean Markley Blue Steels. About 3 years ago I broke the A string right at the bridge saddle on new sets of strings. The catch was, it was two different basses with different types of bridges (a Spector bridge and a Badass bridge). Well, I just restrung one of my Spectors (a new one) and the A broke right at the bridge saddle again! It is coming unraveled right at the saddle. That's now three different basses this has happened. I emailed Dean Markley when this happened the first time with no response. Just curious if I'm the only one.
