... and I think I found a new favorite string These strings are awesome... these strings sound amazing and the slap tone from my Jazz is out of this world with these strings on. I used to have D'Addario XL nickels on and these strings win hands down. If you want a stainless steel string, I'd definitely buy these over Rotosounds. I can't stop slapping these strings

I can check every shop in a 100 mile radius and NOTHING!!!
I always have to order them online which sux because shipping costs etc.
Im starting to thing I should change gauges up 1 step because everybody does carry them. |

Yes, DR makes strings in red, blue, black and maybe other colors as well. |

Im a fan of hex core strings on account that I am heavey handed. When I have the Hi-Beam itch I go up a guage to compensate. All-in-All, they are one of the best strings out there. |

| | | | How do they stack up again the Marcus Miller signature DR Fat beams? (Currently my favourite by far) |

I find that Hi-beams seem to work great on mid-orientated basses like jazz basses. To me they sound the best after a week or so...they get a bit more full when broken-in. |
