Brand new set of Rotosound SH77s broke

I received my set of Roto SH77s in the mail today, I just strung them and let them set a while before tuning them. When I was tuning the D sting, I got it up to a C# the string broke right at the tuner. Has anyone else had this problem?

I've had two sets and never experienced that. That said, those strings are VERY high tensioned. I'd believe it if it happened.
