I was reading a thread here before on having to change the bridge for a different set of strings. I've been thinking about switching from roundwounds (Fender) to flatwounds (Fender), but i dont know how to adjust to bridge to properly accomodate for the different strings. The bridge i have is whatever comes on a fender p-bass special, if the bridge type is needed. Anyone have any knowledge about this?

First, get a kleenex. Second your bridge will work fine. You may want to touch up the action (bridge saddle height) and adjust the intonation. Search for more details on that.
