Brighter? NylonTapewound or Flatwound?

Which are brighter?

I have never layed eyes on nylon tapewound, but I am currently using TI flats.

the labella nylon tapewounds that i use sound brighter to me than either the fender steel or t-i flatwounds strings i have tried before. later, ron

It's been a while since I've used nylon tapewounds, but I believe they are brighter. I currently have some TI flats, and they're pretty thumpy. I think the nylons were brighter, but a little clankier. Fun strings, though. They gave my bass an interesting look.
