Brightest, zingiest steel roundwounds?

Sign in to disble this ad
Currently using Rotosounds (Swing bass 45-105) and have been for some time. Generally happy with these, but just wondering what your comments and recommendations would be as far as the thread title goes?

And... how long do they last?

Playing mainly soul/funk/disco on the bass in question (custom J with Status neck / NJ4SEs / J-Retro).

Thanks guys!
Bill

Brightest i've ever played are Dean Markley SR 2000s. They last the usual amount of time for a steel string, which for me is about 2 weeks.
