Question Buying seperate strings (UK)

Sign in to disble this ad
Does anyone know if it is possible anywhere in the UK to buy seperate strings? It's costing me a small fortune in packs and I don't want to end up with three and four of the same string.

So as not to start a new thread, I was going to ask a similar question, the answer I'm sure will help Fassa as well, so I'll ask it here...

I am having trouble finding a source from which to purchase individual flat wound strings in either .132 or .136, preferably .136. I found one source but they were asking something like $28 per string. PER FREAKIN' STRING! Help!

status-graphite.co.uk sells individual strings. Unfortunatly they only do round wound as singles - flats and grounds you need to buy as a set.

That link didn't post the way I wanted it to, but if you click on "shop", then "single strings", then "bass" then "rotosound" (only option right now), you'll get a full list of singles, currently it looks like they only have rotosound swingbass strings, but in just about every gauge.
