Can anyone help me identify these (Fender?) strings?

I was just thinking about new strings and realised how much I loved the sound of my Jag when it was factory fresh. Now I know every Fender is meant to ship with 7250's, but these don't seem to be 7250s.

The strings that shipped with my Jag are roundwound, roundcore, silver ball ended strings, with no silk end winding whatsoever. Are these some kind of CIJ string? Or can I get them here in the UK? Anyone know what they are? I'm only assuming they're Fender, but if they sound like anything else you know of, let me know too!

Those Could Quite possibly be DR Hi-BEams.

Nah. It fits the description elsewise, but Hi-Beams have gold/brass ball-ends.

No one knows what those are. Seriously. They are a mystery Japanese string.

Those came on my new CIJ '51 reissue as well; they feel a little like Ernie Balls crossed with DR Hi Beams. I liked them, and I knew right away they were not the regular Fender nickels (or Stainless steel). No silk, and not Fender-y at all.

Fenders website says they are 7250s, they most definitely are not.

I asked on the Fender Forum, and apparently many have asked Fender what comes on the CIJs nowadays, and Fender won't answer.
It would appear they are only available in Japan, as no one has been able to identify them anywhere else.

Great strings but you can't have them. I loved the strings that came with my Sting years ago, and I even bought a set of Fender 7250s because that's what FMIC claims they ship on it. No freakin' way. The Fender strings that you buy in a store still suck, and they're not at all like what the MIJ instruments come with.

I find it amazing that Fender says that the CIJs come with 7250s, when in fact they don't, and never have.
