Can a bridge make string´s tension lower?

Well, in my experience some basses have different string tension using the same brand/gauge of strings. Is the bridge or what else?

If the strings are identical and the scale length is identical then the tension will be identical.

There could be a 'feel' difference. If there is a good deal of string length between the saddle and ball end capture, and/or length between the nut and tuning posts there will be more overall string length to stretch the tension out over. This will make the strings feel looser, but the tension will remain the same.

Yes, Knucklehead is right, but don't you state the opposit?

Difference in the feel of tension could also be caused by the setup.
