Can I find Flatwound Phosphor Bronze Strings?

Ok, so I've been looking around for new strings for my acoustic electric bass, and I think it would sound awesome with flatwound strings. But do they even manufacture flatwound phosphor bronze strings(the strings needed for an acoustic instrument)?

just get regular flats - they don't need to be PB

oh for real? Cause I didn't know you could use normal strings with an A/E bass.

That's for our 6-string counterparts: electric strings on an acoustic guitar sound like poop on a stick. You can put electric flats on an acoustic bass no problem. Phosphor bronze flats don't exist. Best of luck dude!

Tapewounds sound good on an ABG as well. They will usually work with an ABG that has the pull-out pins in the bridge like an acoustic guitar. If the strings are fed through the bridge like on a classical it may not work due to tapewounds' thickness. If that's the case, I would string it up with a set of light flats and never look back.
