Can I use a pick with Cleartone or Warwick EMP strings?

Im usually a fingerstyle player and a user of Elixer strings, but I am looking for a string that retains some zing like Elixers.

Except with a pick so Cleartone and Warwick make these coated strings with some EMP coating stuff, the cleartone description says it can withstand hard strumming, would that be with a pick or flamenco style strumming? (I do both ALOT).

Im just wondering if these strings coatings can last with a pick and very aggressive fingerstyle (think flea style plucking) and not fray like the coating on Elixers?

I kill normal strings very fast (DR Hi-Beams go dull in like a week), I want to find something that lives for a while.
