Can Someone give info?

I been playing bass for 7 months now with a bass that I received 8 years ago. It was just sitting in the corner collecting dust.

So I assume that replacing my string would benefit me, but I don't know where to begin to pick the appropriate set.

FYI: I play a Rogue 4 String, and play mostly Rock.

Is there a general info thread out there you guys know of?

I think your bass would benefit from a good setup, rather than just putting strings on it. Do you have a music store near you to take it to?

Get it set up with a set of Chromes - flatwound Strings.

If you play it out, the other players will wonder how you're sounding so good with a starter bass. I bet it'd sound great. Surprise some folks.
