Rotosound are the heaviest brightest flats but you use those already , Ernie Ball flats are fairly bright and do a 110-55 set , they might be worth a try but no flats will be as bright as the Rotos

+1

I have to agree. I love these flats. I was sceptical to buy Fender strings (not sure why) but sure glad I did.

If you haven't tried Labella deep talkin stainless flats..... you really should.
You can get a smooth sound like jazz flats, and even a slap happy sound that can fool you into thinking they're roundwound... seriously. They make a great string.

I've heard that the chromes are brighter.

And a razor blade can easily remove silks, if you must.

In my experience this is how I rank ordered the flats I've used... only on initial brightness...like within the first 3 weeks or so. After a year or so I'm sure the order would change. This is ranked from dark to bright. Other characteristics such as mid range complexity, tonal evenness, stiffness, smoothness, how they age, etc are separate considerations. And this is just my own opinion, you're entitled to spend just as much as I did to reach the same (or different) conclusions.

GHS
Fender
Labella
Sadowsky
Chromes
Roto
TI

I agree on these, but they may not stay bright enough long enough for you, but when they're new they'e plenty bright. My fave flats bar none . . .

GHS
Fender
Labella
Sadowsky
Chromes
Roto
TI
Not at all my experience. New, my ears tell me this, from brightest to leeast bright:

GHS Brite Flats (not really flats)
Chromes, Rotos about the same
TI
GHS Precision, Sadowsky and LaBella, same, (but Sads edgier
more than brighter)

After playing in a lot, (except for Brite Flats, which I never had on long enough to tell), this is the order I hear:

Chromes
TIs
All the rest about the same.

It's hard to say because each string has emphasis on different frequencies, to me the highs all eventually disappear on flats, but the high mids are what can stay longest and are what keep the Chromes on top of the list.

edited to add: I'm an idiot, ignore my post. I missed the part about going from dark to bright! Sorry, guv'nor.
