I don't think I want to try re-tuning my current bass with it's .135 B string and other heavies on it. What would be ideal string gauge range for this? Like. .115 .090 .075 .050 .045?

Thats id I didn't decide to **** it and just tune up the strings I have.

But that C is only a half step sharp, if you want to keep that heaviness, I'd not go much lighter, as I said, I'd stay at least 120, knowing me, even quite a bit heavier.
