changing gauges

hey guys

just fitted my ray with a set of heavy gauge strings. I had never used anything but normal gauge on it before and was wondering if i needed to change anything now that i changed gauges

Look down the neck from body end toward headstock. Is there more bow now with heavier gauge? If so, and often there will be, a truss rod tweak is called for.

your intonation will probably change a little... But as long as they fit in the bridge and nut, you should be ok.

Set up with intonation is advisable. Read 1 or more;
