You can look at http://webstrings.com.

Search about and you should find generally good comments. I just received a set that I have not yet had time to install. Good service, quick shipping. Little choice, but good pricing on what is there.

I have a set of the Detroit Flats from Webstrings and they have eliminated my desire to spend 40 bucks on a second set of the DR Flats I have on another bass.

I will probably end up with 2 different string choices, Webstrings Detroit Flats
D'Addario Chromes

I like those strings both that much!

Try em, you just might love them!

Interesting. Anyone know who makes their strings? Those prices sure are tempting.

From their site:
Quote:
Our guitar strings are made in America by one of the the world's premier musical instrument string makers, the same people responsible for those other fantastic guitar strings that you're so familiar with.

The webstrings are good strings. I like the nickel rounds if I must use rounds. My favorite strings are TI flats, which are really different than any other string, but other than those I love the webstrings- their flats are pretty cool, though I've found they do go dead after a while, as opposed to the TI's, which get better with age. But talk about extremes in price between the 2 brands! Webstrings customer service is also excellent.
